Samahang Pilipino (SP) was founded in 1972 to create a space for Pilipinx students at UCLA to meet and learn about their Pilipinx/Pilipinx American identity. We serve the Pilipinix/Pilipinx American community both on and off-campus.

⚠️Y’ALL ALREADY KNOW WHAT TIME IT IS ⚠️ Hope everyone is having a great summer so far ☀️❕If you’re already thinking about next year and want to be involved with SP’s 2023-2024 Board, look no further! We’re currently looking for individuals to fill the position of Co-President AND Financial Coordinator 😇😇 These are both appointed positions within SP to aid in serving the Pilipinx/Pilipinx-American community 🫶 Congratulations to the new Board for the 2023-2024 academic year ✨ Join Anakbayan at UCLA, Kappa Psi Epsilon, and Samahang Pilipino and the UCLA community on Thursday, 6/1 from 6PM-8PM at Kaplan A65 to watch and discuss Liwanag! Liwanag is a documentary by Siklab in collaboration with the Filipino Migrant Center and NAFCON that focuses on 3 Filipina frontline workers during COVID-19 as they fight and organize for change! Hey SP! The last GM of the year is right around the corner 🥁… our SAMABANQUET! It’ll be this Friday, June 2 from 6:30 to 8:30pm in Haines A2! We’ll be announcing this year’s Samasuperlatives and giving our seniors love for all their hard work! Not interested yet? Don’t worry! We’ll also have lots of food 🍔 😳! Come celebrate the end of an amazing year with SP! ❤️ 🎉 Hi SP! To end off AAPI month, we are giving away a pair of tickets to beabadoobee’s SOLD OUT show at the Greek Theatre on 8.14 😱🤩!! Hey SP! We have some great news to share with yall! We have one CARE workshop left for the year and its happening Wednesday, May 17, from 4-5PM at Moore Reading Room 3340! There will also be Zoom options available for you all! We will be discussing the culture surrounding SVSH and one of the areas it stems from. Attending this workshop does fulfill SVSH requirements for general membership and event participation so now is the time! Happy Friday and SP Election Day!
